Schedule Events/Plan raids
One of the things that guild leaders look for are players who can independently schedule events and
plan raids. Most of the guild members expect these sorts of events to be planned out by officers and
leaders. The player that takes this initiative to plan additional events without overstepping guild rules
can often catch the eye of the boss. It’s what officers are supposed to do. Go out and show that you
have officer material and plan these events out.
Increase morale
Increasing morale and team spirit is always an important role for officers. If a regular member is
enthusiastic and remain loyal to the guild, it will be noticed by all members including the boss.
Members feel pride when there are stories, artwork or videos created relating to the guild. We all love
a good cheerleader and someone who brings positive energy to the guild.
News/forum activity
If you actively participate in the forums and post news articles, you will be in the good graces of the
guild leader. To maintain and update a guild website requires a lot of work and dedication. Those
members who spend time writing news articles of guild experiences and remain active on the forums
helps increase morale and help relay guild information to others. These are two very important things
in guild management.
